How to Write a Book?

Book is a four lettered word but the when we start defining a book, we might very well need an another book. There is no school for transforming people into writers but with little help and advice, a writer can be nurtured easily.

Getting inspired is the best way to begin a full fledged writing career. Have a sincere look at the works of other writers and try to find that how do they define things, how they describe a particular process or event. A book is guided by its subject or genres so if you are intending to write physics junior high text-book, have a look at the similar books by different authors. This will give you a better picture of what to write and what not to write.  Similarly if you are planning to write a novel on some out-of-the-world magical subject then Harry Porter series will be a great book to read beforehand.

After you finish reading books of the similar genre by different authors, try applying your ideas in the same subject. A book is the best when it is unique because repetitive work tends to make an impression on the user’s mind that they have read the content somewhere else. Avoid the overuse of difficult words because you have to cater an entire mass and not some bespectacled, overtly intelligent person. Never go into too much details and descriptions because that tends to die down the pace of the book and the users get bored very easily.

You also need to plan your entire matter and content in details. Sitting on a computer system and start typing whatever comes to your mind first will never result into an impressive book. Try devoting a good time to the planning phase and analyze the requirements of the readers well. After you finish analyzing the requirements and outlining the subject matter of the book, pen down a rough blueprint of the book. Review the book yourself and let some other people review it. Then document a final book incorporating the necessary changes.

As the envelope says a lot about the letter, a book is known by its title. Choose a title that is appealing and says clearly about the theme of the book. So plan, write, review and rewrite are the necessary steps that you need to follow while writing a book. So stick to the topic, avoid unnecessary descriptions and maintain a brisk pace and you will create a gem of a book.
